This house belonged to the famous Marqués de Valdehoyos
who was the person in charge of importing flour and slaves to the city. It stands out for its colonial style and ample facade, its finely carved wooden windows and balcony, and wooden floors and ceilings.
In one of the rooms of this house the Libertador Simón Bolivar was lodged on his way to Santa Marta. It is used for cultural events, expositions, conferences and receptions.
